Assessing your Property
Our estimates, reflecting the fair market value, are derived from recent sales of comparable items over the past two years. These estimates are established through a combination of sales data and expert opinion.
Packing and Moving Your Property
We’re happy to discuss the most efficient method for transporting your property to our six-thousand square foot gallery in Ottawa. Packing materials and transportation fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Before the relocation, both parties will sign an Auction Agreement outlining the entire process.
Photographing and Promoting Your Property
Once your valuables arrive at Pridham’s facility, they will undergo professional photography to optimize their presentation for the auction and online catalog. With everything in place, we’ll launch the auction and online catalog to our extensive network of national and international buyers. Leveraging modern selling platforms, we aim for maximum exposure in global marketplaces.
Commission
The commission, a percentage of the selling price retained by Pridham’s as a service fee, is determined on a value-scale of the hammer price. Factors such as the value, rarity, and quantity of your items may influence the final commission rate. While providing competitive rates, Pridham’s ensures superior service, representation, and marketing throughout the selling process.
